Get your pen and paper out and start your best friend bucket list for 2021. When you’ve got yourself a BFF, cherish them, appreciate them, and make the most of every second with them! Life is short. But your best friend(s) will stick with you through it all. Jobs, colleagues, flings, hard times… they all come and go. The one that’s there to help you forget about all the hard days at work, the difficult breakups and to just generally embrace the good vibes with! Your bestie is the one person you can always rely on. SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, HERE ARE 160 ITEMS I HAVE TICKED OFF MY BUCKET LISTģ6-Snapped a photo of the Mona Lisa at the LouvreĤ3-Completed a nutritional therapy courseĤ6-Graduated with a diploma in JournalismĤ8-Seen the Eiffel Tower glitter at nightĥ3-Discovered the beauty of Vanuatu and New CaledoniaĦ8-Published an article in a magazine and newspaperħ6-Built an email list of over 2000 subscribersħ7-Stopped caring what other people thinkĩ0-Crawled through a manmade wombat’s hole undergroundġ07-Videotaped memories of my grandparentsġ15-Watched a movie at the drive-in theaterġ41-Signed my name under Juliet’s balcony in Veronaġ47-Admired Michelangelo’s work in the Sistine Chapelġ54-Spent my birthday in a foreign countryġ60-Finally, also eaten a snail (escargot) in France It will inspire others to dream big and get to work too. Remember seeing you achieving your dreams and crossing goals off your bucket list will inspire your children to do the same. If anything, you will end up with a fantastic record and list of your life achievements to date – both big and small.įinally, feel free to share this list with your family. (For example I had completely forgotten about abseiling down a cliff-face at school camp in primary school and signing my name under Juliet’s balcony in Verona until I started doing this exercise – honestly it was as if these experiences were totally wiped from my mind!) Whether you realize it or not, you have most likely done some fantastic things in the past that have completely slipped your mind. I mean, what in the world had I actually done or achieved over the last few decades that was so special and amazing?īut I encourage you to persist because I promise you – the memories will eventually come to you. When I started this exercise I was literally stumped after listing only 30 items. Please note this isn’t an easy exercise to complete. But then I did it and what can I say? It felt fantastic re-embracing these old memories! Now I should point out that once upon a time, all these tasks seemed like far-off crazy dreams that I couldn’t actually imagine doing. Seriously I had a total mind blank!īut hey, I didn’t give up – I persisted and ended up with a list 160 great memories ticked off my bucket list! You can check out my list below. I myself originally aimed to list 100 items I had ticked off my own bucket list but I got stuck after 30. This exercise is about acknowledging and respecting your achievements so far and taking the time to pay tribute to these accomplishments.
